The Sisters wish to respectfully disagree: they do not see John de C resembling a retriever.
Sisters Kathleen and Susan think John is closer to a German shepherd; but Sister Linda believes John and the airedale share a strong similarity in facial appearance and jaunty temperment.
The Sisters are mistaken. Neither German shepherd nor airedale does John de C resemble, rather a cat of the Cheshire variety. Notice the swish of his tail and shit-eating grin.
I read The Illuminator with much sadness for the author did not think to inform me of its existence. No, I learned of it from a kindred spirit who roams the hallowed halls I once haunted. Crushed I am.
